GSK approached Equal Reality in 2020 to explore immersive experiences for clinical trials, with the goal of more diverse representation in them.
The first idea was fully immersive VR at patient and health-care events. With COVID, it moved to web-based immersive experiences, piloted with a targeted audience of hepatitis B patients and potential trial participants, focused on keeping diverse communities in trials.
