Speaking with Good Judgement
Hospital staff rehearse speaking up, inside the rooms they'll have the conversation in.
Speaking with Good Judgement is Mater's own program for giving feedback and speaking up respectfully, the heart of a psychologically safe hospital. Face-to-face participation was waning, so Mater asked for a VR version: Through the Looking Glass.
Staff stand in recreations of Mater's own wards and break rooms. A narrator guides them as animated colleagues work through difficult feedback, they choose at each branch, and they see how each communication style plays out.
